Sky Sports is launching a new feature, Your Multiview, on 21 August – right as the Premier League returns. It lets you watch up to four live Sky Sports events on a single screen at the same time, then mix, rearrange and audio-swap them however you like. If you have ever lost an hour of the early kick-off because you were committed to watching the late one, this is the feature that fixes that.
What Your Multiview actually does
Your Multiview puts control in your hands: rather than accepting a preset grid, you pick which four live events appear on screen together. You can spotlight a single match to change the layout, choose which stream’s audio plays, or expand any feed to full screen with a tap. The combinations are not limited to football either — you can combine Premier League, EFL, SPFL and WSL matches, or mix football with F1, cricket, tennis, golf, NFL and rugby, which is especially useful on busy weekends when fixtures collide.
Sports Hub, Clips, Moments: Sky is buying back your second screen
Multiview is the headline, but the rest of the 2026/27 update matters as much. A new Sports Hub sits alongside the match you are watching, bundling live scores, stats, league tables, schedules, clips and highlights – and letting you switch to another game, open Recap or launch Multiview without leaving the current screen. A scrollable, autoplay Clips feed brings short-form highlights into the same place, and the app gains Moments, a personalised vertical feed of clips and analysis. Team Pages gather a club’s live games, headlines, replays and YouTube content in one place. Sky cannot stop viewers from checking scores on their phone, so it is pulling that behaviour back inside the TV interface. Multiview replaces the score-checking tab; Clips and Moments replace the highlights you would otherwise scroll elsewhere.
What to watch out for
Three things are worth knowing before you commit. First, bandwidth. Four simultaneous streams need a solid connection, and Sky has not published minimum speed guidance. If your broadband is already struggling with one 4K feed, four may be a stretch. Second, NOW Sports gets it too. Multiview and Key Plays arrive on NOW this season, not just Sky Glass, Sky Stream and Sky Q, which signals that Sky is not treating this as a premium-only perk. Third, the price is the same. Sky Sports remains £22 per month as an add-on to Essential TV or Ultimate TV, with Sky Stream working over Wi-Fi through a small HDMI puck — no satellite dish needed.
Verdict
split-screen sport has existed for years — but making it user-configurable across sports, on both Sky and NOW, at the start of a Premier League season is sensible product thinking. What decides whether it sticks is how quickly the Sports Hub lets people move between the four things they were already trying to watch.
