Oppo has confirmed the Find X10 Pro Max will launch internationally on MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9600 Pro, making it one of the first phones built on a 2nm flagship platform. The reveal gives the upcoming flagship a strong on-paper foundation for sustained performance and on-device AI.

The Dimensity 9600 Pro: a 2nm flagship
The chip is built on TSMC’s 2nm N2P process, designed to deliver more performance without raising power draw. Oppo says the new node improves CPU multi-core energy efficiency by up to 61% over the previous generation. That headroom matters most for long sessions — gaming, photo editing or heavy AI tasks — where older flagships tend to throttle.
All-Big-Core performance
MediaTek’s All-Big-Core architecture pairs two C2-Ultra cores at up to 4.55GHz with six performance cores. Oppo claims a 17% overall CPU gain, while independent frequency control lets the system tune each core to the workload. The practical upshot is snappier everyday response and steadier performance under load.
Gaming and graphics uplift
The new G2-Ultra NX GPU adds enhanced ray tracing and neural graphics, with MediaTek citing around 27% higher performance under sustained heavy workloads. For the Find X10 Pro Max, that means more headroom for demanding mobile games and richer, more realistic visuals without the usual heat-driven slowdown.
Oppo’s Laminar Flow Engine
New for this device is Oppo’s Laminar Flow Engine, co-developed with MediaTek. It coordinates rendering and system scheduling to boost responsiveness while keeping power in check, and Oppo says it can speed up app launches and keep photo browsing smooth even during intensive tasks.
Plenty about the Find X10 Pro Max remains under wraps, including pricing and the rest of the hardware. But the combination of a 2nm flagship chipset, stronger sustained performance and a clear focus on on-device AI makes the global launch one of the more intriguing flagship stories of the season.
