A separate Sound Recognition mode also listens for sirens, doorbells, alarms and crying babies, alerting wearers who are deaf or hard of hearing even without a nearby iPhone.<\/p>\n

Availability and Compatibility<\/h2>\n

Both features need Siri AI on a paired iPhone, and Apple plans a beta later this year in English first, with more languages following as Siri AI reaches a wider iPhone rollout.
