You upload your own study materials and notes, and Gemini generates personalised quizzes or fuller explanations grounded in that specific content rather than in generic training data. For revision, that distinction matters: an AI that tests you on your lecturer’s slides is far more useful than one testing on the internet’s average understanding of a topic.<\/p>\n
Google says further upgrades are coming over the next few weeks, including graphics and images inside lessons. Gemini can also build functional 3D models for certain subjects — a DNA strand being the example given — which should suit visual learners and anyone working through structural or spatial material.<\/p>\n
Here is the part that deserves emphasis: this is not a permanently free subscription. When the 12-month promotional window closes, standard pricing applies automatically, and because you had to attach a payment method up front, that transition happens without any further action from you. Anyone who does not want to start paying €4.99, €5.49 or €21.99 a month needs to cancel before the offer expires. Set a calendar reminder on the day you sign up, not eleven months later.<\/p>\n
Free student tiers are not charity, they are habit formation — the same playbook Spotify, Adobe and Microsoft have run for years.
